Managers need time together!

And this time should not only be dedicated to the primary company needs but also to grow the management skills.

Being a manager, whether first-line or senior, is definitely a great and exciting challenge!

With, at times, some drawbacks or difficulties which it is useful to constructively discuss with peers to find solutions jointly.

Most companies do try hard and take care of their management community, by offering them “get together” times of different sorts, whether formal or informal. But, busy diaries and agendas mean that meetings are often solely focused on THE priority: managing activities.

However, managers also need to talk about practices, share experiences and learn from each other. Management training sessions are useful in that respect, whether internal or intercompany.

Considering the challenges of management functions, Key Job offers quite a wide range of training areas:

  • For young and ambitious managers seeking to grow in their career and take over more important responsibility.
  • For managers seeking to keep up-to-date with new techniques and the digital challenges of this 21st century.
  • For managers wanting to enhance certain aspects of their management skills as team management, efficient communication or conflict management.
  • For managers facing daily challenges and needing the input of peers to be comforted in their decision taking and to feel being part of a community of practice.

What Key Job can do for you as a manager

Trainings

All our management training sessions are based on experience and practices sharing: looking at what works, what doesn’t work and why; coming up with best practices, backed up by easy to implement tools; and finally, putting tools into practice through role plays and inspiring exercises.

Workshops

We also offer either internal or external practice sharing and learning workshops focused on specific management topics of interest: appraisals, motivation, recognition, constructive feedback… are just but a few examples of the most frequently asked themes.

Codevelopment

Two of our trainers and coaches are certified in Codevelopment and help managers collectively overcoming difficult situations through a structured consultation exercise with a precise plan of action as an outcome.

Codevelopment for smarter & happier managers

Professional codevelopment brings together a group of people who share professional issues, learn together and cultivate «collective intelligence» through a six-step process that structures speech, listening, reflection and action. Each manager identifies a «key challenge» that will initiate collective practices improvement and personal leadership development.

This fairly new pedagogy[1] is based on learning by doing from reflection on past actions. It helps moving the entire organization forward by challenging teams and preserving well-being at work. Participants will also develop essential virtues such as the ability to:

  • stand back, think outside the box and do things differently,
  • adopt a systemic point of view,
  • free themselves from their expertise and stop being confined to it,
  • act in complementarity with others; actively listen to understand different views from their own; provide relevant and constructive regulations (feedback),
  • increase their perception of nonverbal communication and feelings.
